Conservatism and liberalism versus easing and aggravation

Do you think there is a direct connection between the ideological axis of "conservatism-liberalism" and the halakhic axis of "severity-relaxation"?

In other words, does the more conservative a rabbi is (for example, Haredi, Haredi, or even more distinctly Haredi), the more strict he tends to be in ruling, and the more liberal a rabbi is, the more lenient he tends to be?
Or there is no necessary connection between worldview and the actual level of aggravation.

Before clarifying this, we need to examine what halachic leniency actually is. In the article, I explained that leniency means opening up more options. Obviously, a more liberal rabbi will open up more options.
