“The greatest shortcoming of the nature of fear of God when it is not well connected to the light of Torah is that instead of fear of sin, it is replaced by fear of thought, and since a person begins to be afraid of thinking, he becomes more and more immersed in the mud of ignorance, which takes away the light of his soul, hinders his strength, and clouds his spirit” (R. Even if the things are against one's faith and religion, one should not say to him: Do not speak and keep your mouth shut, for if so, there will be no clarification of religion. For the one who opposes religion is ignorant of the words of the one who opposes, this is nothing but the nullity and weakness of religion... For reason requires that there should be no impediment at all to this and that a person's mouth be shut in the matter of his coming to religion, only the gateway of religion is given to everything... And through this, a person comes to the true content of things and to stand on the absolute truth, and there is no closure for things like these. For every hero who wants to oppose someone to show his heroism, he very much desires that the one who opposes him overcomes him in every way he can, and then, if he defeats [the] hero who came to overcome him, it seems that the victor is the most powerful." The new edition of the trilogy has now been released in paperback, which includes many corrections, but these are mainly printing corrections and there are no substantial changes.
