Why do you support surrogacy?
I'm barely prepared to accept the idea that we would help a woman with a *medical problem* have a child. But why on earth should I fund someone with no medical problem??
What's the next step? A single man who doesn't want to get married but really wants to change diapers?
And if the problem is that it's really, really hard for them, then my heart is with them but not my wallet...
Maybe we'll start funding plastic surgery too - after all, it's hard to live with a crooked nose or ugliness of any kind?
Needless to say, I have no problem if they act as they have until now and find someone out of their own pockets who will agree to carry Waldem in her womb (even if she is Israeli), but it is difficult for me to turn from a human into an ATM (maybe I will do conversion therapy and that will make it easier for me….)
They have a medical problem for everything. They can't have children with a partner. How is this different from any other treatment? And it's not your wallet, it's everyone's, including theirs. By the way, when it's hard to live with some kind of defect, plastic treatments are indeed funded.
The arrogance with which you write does not make your stupid arguments valuable.
This is not an inability!
A woman with uterine problems cannot, they can and do (dozens every year). When there is public consent to financial expenditure, it is only when there is literally no choice and no ability, and not because lifestyles dictated it.
Regarding the 'wallet' – you rejected the request.
Regarding arrogance – I can't see where I was arrogant? In short, I argued that the public should not fund anyone whose lifestyle caused them hardship (the same is true for Haredim who don't work, for settlers who chose to live in places that are God-fearing, etc.), I neither wrote out of hatred nor out of rejection (I have no problem with them. I am in favor of equal rights for this public, but giving them something that I wouldn't give to any other group is injustice).
Regarding stupidity – I understand the need for insults in light of the claim "They have a medical problem for everything. They can't have children with a partner." Indeed, this is a pretty shallow answer, so only a good insult will make it relevant.
You are right that you are jealous of the prevailing attitude towards the 'what a bunch of idiots.' I hope the Fritz likes your dance.
I'm still waiting for a substantive answer and not a 'what's up with the philistines' (if such a thing exists).
I read in one of your posts that you are a capitalist. No you are not!
The argument you raised – "It's not your wallet, it's all of ours, including theirs" – is also raised by the Railway Workers' Committee, the Teachers' Union, employees of the Israel Broadcasting Authority, and any group that wants to feast on the public purse.
In short, I'm not sure you understand what capitalism is.
But hey, it's true that you're not a capitalist, but at least with such views you could be a great chairman of a foundation. The dancing chairman... congratulations.
But don't worry, we'll do conversion therapy for you and plaster you... (Did we mention arrogant?)
On another page on the site, you already announced that you wouldn't want to go on a tour with me to perform at nursing homes.
But where – for God’s sake (who left the country…) – did you say you wouldn’t answer me??
Welcome, your partner – future ex – to a bad couple.
