A question about the cosmological view
Peace and blessings,
In the cosmological view in the notebooks, to avoid a situation of infinite regression, you reformulated the view something like this:
Everything we have experience of must have a cause or reason, and what we have no knowledge of does not necessarily have a cause, and hence the first reality that has no cause – is actually God.
My question is, why is the world itself, with its uncomplexed elementary components, considered something we have experience with, after all, we have never seen whether, for example, dirt and water were created (like other materials that were created in a laboratory about which we can say with certainty that we have experience and have a reason), or have existed since time immemorial (as the RLBG claims regarding the primordial matter), and in fact, what do you mean by our experience with this elementary component?
thanks.

My understanding of the simple fact is that indeed the primordial Joule matter is primordial. (A logical contradiction if not :))
But there does not need to be a mechanism that will produce the form from it because there cannot be an infinite number of forms.
And if this mechanism is external, it is God. (And this fits well with the physicalist view)
And if it is internal, the Rabbi did not answer me then. He will answer that it is God, it is clear. But it is completely impossible to invent a will for it. (But there is still a small question, why did this infinite time not explode and suddenly it did… will can easily explain this, but it can be explained otherwise, such as unstable energy, etc.). Especially if the laws of nature are not entities. Then it is easier to imagine that energetic instability will cause material changes. As in quantum mechanics, things are created from Joule matter. And the law of conservation of energy is included in Joule matter.
In conclusion, the cosmological question is about changes in form and not about energetic essence.
Hi Kobi, I didn't really understand your answer, but thanks for trying anyway..
A quick search of the questions actually brought up some similar questions that the Rabbi had been asked in the past, see for example here:
