About stereotypical truth……

Shalom Rabbi Michi
I read your article “Salah, this is the Land of Israel. I have a few reservations about it and even a puzzlement or two…”
But there is one point I definitely want to make with you…
Don’t you think that to some extent the fact that there are still Moroccans “stuck” in Dimona, compared to Romanians who left as soon as they could, is the result of a deliberate policy (indirectly, perhaps directly). In addition, can you really compare the situation of immigrants from Russia in the 1990s who arrived in the developed state of Israel with an average family size of one and a half children and education, to immigrants from Morocco (most of them rural) with an average family size of 9 children who arrived in the 1950s to an austerity state in its infancy with existential questions hanging over its head?????
If your opinion is that this is indeed the case and it is actually their sole fault…..what then is the cause of this????? Is it an ingrained primitive culture? Maybe a shared genetic defect? Masochism?
thanks…….

I didn’t write that it was their sole fault. I also completely agree that the lack of education (which was also appealed above) plays a part in the matter. And yet the discourse of deprivation is distorted, and that’s what I came to point out.
