I don’t know enough to have an opinion. I think he’s too existentialist. I really enjoyed reading his book Torah from Heaven in the Speculary of the Ages, which is visited quite a bit by Talmud scholars.
Miki, why is it criticized quite a bit by Talmud scholars? Do you also find problems with it?
I am not a researcher, so I cannot judge him on a research level, nor do I know the details of the claims. He makes claims about the preaching and thought methods of the Rabbis and Rabbis, and builds a complete and comprehensive picture from this, and the researchers claim that this is not an accurate description of their methods.
