An individual’s responsibility for a reality that is much larger than themselves

How much does a single person have to do to correct a distorted reality, even though it is clear that he has no chance of changing it {and even more so, he may be harmed himself}?
If the Rabbi addressed this question in one of the columns, I would be happy if he would address it there as well.
thanks

I don’t have an answer to the question of how many. This is a general question and there are many different situations. How do you expect me to answer such a question? I have distinguished in several places between guilt and responsibility, and I have argued that although there is no blame on an individual, there may be responsibility. Look here for guilt and responsibility. Stalin.
