Anatomy studies in autopsy

Rabbi, as part of our nursing studies, we, as first-year students, are required to be present at autopsies. During the surgery, we concentrate on the anatomical and physiological parts, accompanied by the lecturers who teach about the body parts. Is this permissible halachically?
The bodies mostly come from the United States due to the scarcity of body donors for science in Israel.
