And again about definitions and concepts
I can’t find the thread that was opened about this, so I started a new one –
At the time, I suggested that it might be appropriate (if I may be allowed to suggest a little) for the rabbi to publish a book about ‘Definitions and Conceptual Analysis: The Ways, Methods, and Obstacles Accompanied by Concrete Examples.’
I think his honor agreed with me that he deals with this quite a lot, and also that one of his innovations, or his added value, is that he dwells relatively extensively on the conceptual analysis. And after the analysis, the issue takes on a new color with new solutions.
However, this does not come to fruition. Unfortunately and sadly, I am sorry.
Now I thought – again, after asking for forgiveness, and if I may be allowed a little – to gather here on the site, as a separate language, all the posts that dealt with: a) the very concept of conceptual analysis, definitions, differences between types of definitions, etc. b) examples of conceptual analysis, such as: democracy, Jew, religion, intuition, mysticism, and so on.
What do you think?
