Another question for the rabbi regarding Rabbi Akiva
In the SD
In another video, I saw that the Messianics make two claims about Rabbi Akiva.
1. Rabbi Akiva invented the sermon. Is this true? I’ve never heard of that.
2. Rabbi Akiva is not a Jew. Why? If I understand correctly, they claim that he is a descendant of Edomite converts about whom it is written that they will not come in the congregation until the third generation. As far as I know, Rabbi Akiva is a descendant of Sisera, king of Canaan. Was Sisera an Edomite? And even if so, couldn’t Rabbi Akiva be the grandson of the Gentiles who converted, Moas?

Thank you very much for the answer.
Possible? That is, we do not know whether Rabbi Akiva's parents were the ones who converted or his grandparents. Is that right? In addition, we do not know if they were red. Is that right?
Thank you very much,
I don't know where they got the idea that he was an Edomite immigrant. It is written in the Gemara that he was the son of immigrants. It is written that he was one of the sons of Sisera (see Sanhedrin 20:2, for the version of R. Gaon Berakhot 27:2). Sisera was the army chief of Jabin, king of Canaan.
I am not aware of any source that his parents were immigrants, and it is certainly possible that they were his parents' parents or even higher. A "son of immigrants" in the Talmudic tradition is a descendant in some generation, not necessarily a son.
