Are you worried about the country?
Someone sent me a collection of articles, etc., by many great figures from the Haredi community, zt”l, on the Balfour Declaration and the establishment of the state (see Da’at Torah ), and it is very positive. What changed and what happened that today most Haredim hate the state and see it as a prohibition, etc.?

It is interesting that the Haredim who claim not to change their position, "New things are forbidden from the Torah," etc., etc., change when they feel like it.
The Haredi don't hate the country, they actually love it, the Haredi public is much more right-wing and nationalist than the Da'al.
They simply got used to the fact that they don't have to contribute anything to it. So those who have good qualities join a charity organization or start one. Those who have good qualities + integrity + courage, join the army.
