army
Hello Rabbi
I’ve been in the army for about two years, 4 months ago a new commander arrived. I don’t get along with him at all. I even hate him. He has no interpersonal skills and no tact, and that affects the level that I’m writing this question at 24:00. On the one hand, I have a good position, conditions, salary, and a feeling of doing something important. At the same time, as I described, if the previous commander told me that he wanted to stay in the position only because of me, then I feel the exact opposite towards this commander. There’s a lot to detail, but the question is: Is it worth the bad feeling and the suffering he caused me compared to the fact that I have a well-established job with relatively good conditions? (In terms of salary, of course, I can earn the same salary and more outside.) Maybe it would just be better for my soul if I left? Maybe I should swallow my pride and suffer and continue, and that’s what it is and that’s it? It’s important to me to say that I’m not complaining, and if I’m complaining, it’s because the other side honestly earned it because of his behavior towards me.
I would appreciate advice from you, Rabbi.
