Ascension to the Temple Mount
What is the Rabbi’s opinion regarding the commandment of ascending to the Temple Mount? According to those who support it, they are fulfilling commandments such as the commandment of reverence for the Temple and a few other commandments. Do you think there is any truth to these claims?

I am not familiar with these claims. There is a halakhic debate about whether it is permissible to go up and whether it is appropriate to go up (lest they reach prohibitions). There is a political debate about whether it is advisable to go up. Regarding the mitzvot – on the surface I do not see a mitzvah being fulfilled in this. But as mentioned, I have not read the reasoning.
