Hello,
Does the Rabbi see the importance of adhering to pronunciation (especially in the name of God) as is the custom of our ancestors?
Kind regards, Benjamin

What is the reasoning behind the rabbi's opinion?
A person is supposed to pray as he speaks. You could equally ask why speak in a Sephardic accent and not keep the Ashkenazi accent (or in general why speak Hebrew and not Yiddish). As far as I remember, the rabbi and Rabbi Uziel disagreed on this. See the rabbi's agreement with the legal commentary of Uziel.
"A person should pray as he speaks." That is, is it better to speak before a king, or is there another reason?
I didn't understand what the hell. Swelling is speech and therefore it is spoken in the language and in the way that people generally speak.
