Books by an atheist
Is it permissible to read books by an atheist when in these books he speaks against God and religion (for example, Yuval Noah Harari)?
Assuming it is permitted, is it worth avoiding it or is it better to read to be exposed to more opinions?
In my opinion, there is no reason to prohibit reading arguments. Such a prohibition is ridiculous and unfounded on its face. I explained this in the second book of my trilogy and also here on the site.
Anyone who is bothered by these things should definitely read, think, consult, and hear more opinions, and then formulate a position.
If I'm not too bothered by it but just want to read for pleasure, should I read it too or is it better not to get into it in the first place?
For health. I am not involved in reading recommendations.
