Books by Bach gentlemen
Hello Rabbi
A. From your books and also from what you said, you read a lot. If you could please write something on the subject of knowledge, deep thinking, etc. through reading books – a few points
1 Which books have contributed the most to your understanding and deepening?
2 The way to acquire intellect, internet courses, etc., in relation to books
3 The relationship between studying at a yeshiva/university, issues of degrees, etc., and reading books – how do you see it in relation to yourself and others?
Can you say what is the special intellectual depth in Bach’s music?
I don’t have general answers. Each person has their own way.
- I don’t know. There are various philosophy books, as well as science studies.
- The question of whether to read or take a course is a personal one. There are areas in which it is difficult to study on your own without a teacher.
- In my opinion, there is no substitute for a yeshiva, except for truly isolated individuals.
- I don’t understand anything about it.
Regarding the last question – see the following glosses
