Boycott Angel

Regarding Angel Bakery:

I do not agree with this boycott.

Because just as the Haredim despise Ben-Gurion and Esther Hayut and all the secular figures, and in the eyes of the Haredim it is completely legitimate to demonstrate in front of Aharon Barak’s house, the same thing is legitimate in my eyes for secular people to demonstrate with all their heart for the things that are important to them and that they believe in.

Basically, the issue of enlisting in the IDF is truly one of the most sacred issues for the average secular person, and at a simple glance it is incomprehensible why the Haredim are evading it, and Rabbi Edelstein is the leader who continues to tell the Haredim not to enlist but to study Torah, so in my opinion it is completely understandable that a classic secular person would demonstrate in front of the home of the rabbi who violates equality.

I’m not going into the point of whether the Haredim donate or whether the army needs them. Even if we assume they don’t need them, for example,

If we accept that they truly believe that there is injustice here and that it really hurts them (and I believe that it really bothers them in terms of the injustice of the matter)
So it is completely legitimate for them to protest against the house of the greatest of generations.

After all, the Haredi public also has no secular figure that he says so far. The Haredis despise anyone who does not observe the mitzvot, such as Rabbi Ovadia, who said of the judges in the High Court that they are “burners of sin,” a very flattering statement. Or Rabbi Shach, who gave the Ha-Haban speech and offended many secularists.
So they shouldn’t demand that a secular person who is not traditional respect their elders.
So a decent Haredi should not boycott.
What do you think?

You’re discussing this as if someone had some serious claim here. It’s clear that this is a tactical insult. Does anyone think there was anything wrong here? This is just a common Haredi tactic, like the Muslims who are insulted in order to try and extract consideration and achievements from their surroundings. Ordinary Haredim are really stupid who buy into these manipulations and some even take them seriously. This is the obvious result of brainwashing and living in a bubble.
