Canaanite slave
I don’t know how much you’ll like the question.
What is the purpose of the Torah regarding a Canaanite slave, and what is the point of converting him against his will? Especially since we are not seeking to convert people.

I have no idea. Why did you read it?
Perhaps there is an assumption here that the slave behaves like a Jew (obligated by the commandments as a woman) while he is a slave, since we do not want to have among us people who behave like Gentiles. And once he ascends, he will not descend again.
