It is forbidden to eat their food because they have rituals in which the priest or brother lets his worshippers taste their bread, and this is just an example.
Seriously? These bans started long before
This was just an example..
In the same way I could say that they bake and sacrifice to their idols..: And there was a man for a man, and he took of them, and he made a fat loaves, and he baked bread, and he made a god, and he made a graven image, and he worshipped it. Half of it he burned with fire, and half of it he ate, and roasted it, and sat down, and said, "I have seen light." And the remnant of it shall be to him that hath made it an image, and shall worship it, and shall fall down, and shall pray unto it, and shall say, Save me, for thou art against me.
