Dedication to the commandments
Hello Rabbi Michael.
The rabbi, regarding the statement that one should keep the mitzvot only because it is the right thing to do, does not work so well for simple people like me, as if it is difficult to devote oneself to the mitzvot in all situations, even in cases of weakness and when one is distracted by petty matters, and therefore how can one keep the mitzvot if not for its own sake and for the sake of reward in the next world and for utilitarian considerations?
How does the Rabbi pretend to fear God as if he were devoting himself to the mitzvot?
