Dina Demalkuta in the Land of Israel

The innovation of the Ran is a singular opinion that, as far as I understand, has no source nor much logic. The authority of the regular king of Israel is also a derivative of the Dina demalchuta. Therefore, I would not be afraid of it. But in any case, this is not a matter of law, since the state’s institutions and laws have validity by virtue of public regulations, even if there is no royal law here.
