Does God love us?
Does God love us, or are emotions like love something he invented so we can get along in the world, and it doesn’t necessarily exist for him?
I have no idea why he created emotions, but it’s unlikely that they exist for him in the same sense as for us. When we talk about his qualities, we usually mean their consequences in the world. What exactly does that say about what’s happening to him? I have no idea.
What about the opposite situation, the consequences of what happens in the world to him? For example, when something bad happens, doesn't it "bother" him? After all, he distinguishes between good and bad. For example, didn't the Holocaust make him "sad"? Or is that impossible to know either. In fact, the assumption that he has desires means that he doesn't want us to do certain things, or doesn't "like" certain things?
I didn't understand what was new here. The answer is as I wrote.
