Duplicate game cards to play for free
Hello Rabbi
There is a kind of technological device that can imitate and transmit frequencies, for example, as soon as someone presses a remote control that opens an entrance gate, the device is able to copy the frequency and transmit it itself, thus opening the gate as well. The device is also able to copy a card from a gaming machine, including the credit that is loaded on it, and transmit it endlessly, which means that if I bought a card at an arcade that is loaded with a certain amount, I can duplicate this card and play endlessly (the credit does not decrease).
Is this called theft or robbery? Is it forbidden from a halachic perspective?

Of course it's not appropriate, but I was interested in what the point of it was. It doesn't sound like it was theft because nothing was stolen, but rather the gaming machines were used for fun, but free of charge.
Using a tool that is available for rent without payment is prohibited. This is the law of the one who benefits and this is lacking (because the yard is viable for the tax). And even when it is not viable for the tax, it is prohibited (especially since the use wears out the machine, as a release from the shayta). And certainly the law prohibits it, and therefore also the halakha from the Dina of Malchut.
