Entering into doubt at first

שו”תCategory: HalachaEntering into doubt at first

Good afternoon, Rabbi Michael, in continuation of the Rabbi’s answer at https://mikyab.net/%D7%A9%D7%95%D7%AA/%d7%9e%d7%a6%d7%91%d7%99-%d7%a1%d7%a4%d7%a7
Is there a general halachic interest/obligation in Halacha not to enter into situations of doubt?
It seems that in many places in halakhah (especially in the law of blessings) the initial halakhic solution to doubt is to simply get out of it (even if for that matter I really don’t want to eat bread). Is it simply choosing the easiest solution and the person has every legitimacy not to act this way, or is there a more binding halakhic element here that wants to avoid situations of doubt even at the cost of discomfort to the person and a requirement that he change his normal lifestyle that led to the state of doubt.
I would be happy to provide sources and references for discussions on the subject if there are any, thank you very much!
