Evacuation of families in Sheikh Jarrah
Greetings to the Honorable Rabbi Dr.
I saw that there was a global uproar surrounding the evacuation of families in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.
I saw that there is global media deception, surrounding incidents that have occurred (such as the case of the driver who ran over a Palestinian, who was sabotaged with stones), and perhaps also surrounding the aforementioned incident (Sheikh Jarrah).
I saw that there are many social figures on a global scale (for some of whom the State of Israel is their homeland and whose nationality is Jewish) who come out against Israel.
I saw that there were protests among educated people (at universities like Tel Aviv, Ben Gurion) – and that gave some sense that there was a logical basis behind their positions.
After the introduction, my question is, is the basis (historical combined with logical) on which their agenda rests logical?
The question is even bigger:
Does the fact that there are many educated people who choose a leftist agenda lend their columns more solid validity? (Or maybe they thought that about their lecturers, and therefore continued with their ideology)
Thank you very much.
