Evil in the world

In the SD
Greetings to Rabbi Michael,
Sorry for the heretical musings below, but I think that sometimes it is better to raise the issue than to keep it quiet. Time to do for the Lord, etc.
However,
To the extent that we assume that God is absolutely good

Isn’t our world the greatest contradiction to this? After all, evil exists in the world – whether from nature, such as hurricanes and diseases, or from the choices of people – Hitler and Balaam, or from heavenly punishments, such as torment and after death hell, etc., etc.
Isn’t this overwhelming proof that God is not good?!
Or if he is indeed good, there is another entity – an evil god who prevents him from carrying out his goodness. (Also primordial, etc., we will have to assume that there are two authorities of good and evil)
I saw that the rabbi referred to evil by choice on the website (although this does not advance much because there are many other types of evil) but he could still prevent the choice from evil, but people would only do degrees of good, say whether to give charity happily or not to give at all. But there would be no possibility of murdering the poor, may God bless them.
I would be happy to answer and apologize if my question is not in the spirit of the site.
Moses

Hello Moshe. First, any pertinent question is in the spirit of the site. I have addressed evil in several places here. Human evil is the result of our choice. If God intervened every time we wanted to do evil, our good deeds would have no value because they were not done by choice (because we can only do good). Regarding natural evil, I explained here that perhaps a world that operates according to the laws of nature that God wants for His purposes also necessarily entails these results. The alternative is only to create a world without laws (meaning that at every moment He decides anew what will happen in it), and He does not want that (for example, because we will not be able to behave in it in a logical way because we cannot predict what will happen).

So forgiveness is asked at the most minimal level, he could not create a world where a baby grows teeth without pain, he could not make water as abundant as air so that no one would die of thirst, and so on.
Thank you

That's true. I suggest you read the sources I referred you to.

Please refer to a specific link
Because I have not found anywhere an explanation of what disability he has from doing this so that he can justify continuing to say that he is the best that is possible
Thank you

There are many links. What you need to do is just search as I wrote. So as a public service, see for example column 547.
