Is it permissible to post on Facebook knowing that people will comment on it on Shabbat?

I see no reason to ban it. You post and the response will come whenever it comes. Whoever decides to respond on Shabbat is their decision.

Before me, blind, non-existent? Asking out of lack of knowledge

מיכי replied 6 years ago

No. First, it's not a situation of “Tari Ivri Danhara”, meaning that without you the offense could not have been committed. Second, at most you are causing him to react. The decision when to react is his.
To the same extent, one could ask whether you are allowed to employ a secular person and pay him a salary? With money, he may desecrate Shabbat and eat unkosher.

Is it right and good to do so?
(Regarding the blind man)

I don't think there's any problem with that. There's no need to avoid Facebook just because there are criminals. It's a legitimate and useful tool, and I have a past life.
