Family punishment for Arabs

Hello Rabbi,
Assuming that if a law were enacted that every terrorist who carries out an attack would have his entire family (i.e. his father, mother, brothers and sisters) permanently deported from the territories of Israel and Judea and Samaria (even without any proof of connection or support for his actions) the next day, this would dramatically prevent attacks.
What is your principled opinion on such a law? And I would be happy if you would elaborate on its morality from the perspective of punishing another person, and also if you are aware of such precedents.
