Fast argument not valid
I’m sitting here in the university library, and on the shelf next to me are New Testament books from various publishers, and I asked-
Let’s say I was in charge of the place and decided on the books. On the one hand, it’s impossible for a university library not to have such central books as the Quran and the New Testament (and even Eastern wisdom, which I’m not familiar with), but on the other hand, at the end of the day, there’s a prohibition involved. So what would I do?
(The irritating phenomenon is well known that in final questions for the sole purpose of study, rabbis evade and like to say that since the incident did not happen, there will be no “divine assistance” in providing the answer. From my impression, the rabbi opposes this phenomenon?)
