I have often seen in the words of the Rabbi that there is no point in valuing emotion since it is a fact.
But we must emphasize that since emotion is something that a person activates, influences, and determines in his soul, and if God requires us to love Him, and simply means that a person can plant emotions in his heart, then there is much to appreciate in emotion, since it is not a fact but the fruit of labor.

I would be very grateful to the rabbi if he could send a link to the sources. The point is that if this is a halachic question about the meaning of the verse, then ultimately we will have to follow the ruling of Chazal or the majority of poskim or a serious doubt.
