Finding leaven in the synagogue
If I found leaven on Chol HaMoed and there is a large loss in burning it, what can I do? Let’s say it’s a large quantity of granola that my father made (which I didn’t find before Passover) and it’s secular, so it would cause a very big fight if I came and burned it.

By the way, if he sold chametz to his father (a person who is not in his presence), it could be considered valid, right?
Why not in his presence? I understand that he lives there with him. If his father is not interested in the sale, it won't help that he thinks it's his right.
