First-order ruling
Hello Rabbi Michael,
Which poskim do you think (even if from a general impression) are poskim of the nature that you call ‘first order’? Do you think Rabbi Moshe Feinstein is one of them?

This is a complete axis. There is no binary first and second order here. There are poskim who are closer to the first order and those who are more second order. Rabbi Feinstein is quite close to the first order. The Harsha is also close to it. Shagat Aryeh was a poskim (?) of the first order (although his responsa is not a halachic ruling).
