Following the debate with Franco on free choice
You said you have an intuition for free choice, and for you that means there is, until proven otherwise. That is why it is necessary to resort to philosophical arguments in favor of free choice.
The question is, do you think a person with a very strong intuition that there is a God (I’m not talking about a religious experience of some emotional HIGH during “Lecha Dodi” on Shabbat Eve, but something deeper, like the sense of choice) can rely on his intuition to reach the conclusion that there is a God without resorting to philosophy?
