Peace and blessings,
I am a biology teacher at a religious high school. I bought your book to answer myself and my students about the supposed contradiction between science and faith.
On a personal level, from studying and understanding the wondrous complexity of nature and the human body, I have no doubt that there is an entity that is outside the laws of nature.
However, in your book “God Plays Dice” you argue that the evolution of flagella in bacteria indicates that intelligent design is necessary. However, in the article PALLEN, Mark J.; MATZKE, Nicholas J. From The Origin of Species to the origin of bacterial flagella. Nature Reviews Microbiology, 2006, 4.10: 784-790. They argue that the article provides strong evidence that the bacterial flagella evolved gradually through evolutionary processes, and did not arise all at once. It emphasizes the importance of understanding evolution as a tool for explaining complexities in nature, and refutes the claims of supporters of intelligent design.
I would appreciate an informed answer regarding this article.

It seems to me that the question was written as soon as you got to the discussion about the whip. Keep reading.
My book says the exact opposite. The whole thesis is that I don’t argue with neo-Darwinists about science and that there is no need to.

You are invited to read Michael Behe's comments in his books on this point. He specifically addresses these claims of Matzke.
