God’s choice between good and evil
Hello, Your Honor.
My name is Aita and I would like to ask His Excellency:
Does God have free will? A choice between good and evil.
It is known that man is superior to the angels due to his ability to choose between two things, but what about God?
The question concerns me because, in my humble opinion, if the answer is that God cannot do this (to choose evil and even fail), there is an apparent superiority of man over God.
With great gratitude and appreciation
Why assume he has no choice?
It is enough that the "possibility of choice" exists by force, even though in practice there is no reason for him to hesitate, because he knows what needs to be done, and he has no impulses, etc., that would draw him to choose something different.
Hello.
For example, a choice between creating the world or not is impossible.
The question is about between good and evil.. Does he have a choice there too?
If God does not have passions, then in my opinion the person who deals with them is superior to him..
This is the problem of completeness and further education. Search the site.
The truth is that this only raises the question even more.
And
I conclude two things from this:
1) Man has an advantage over God.
2) It's not fair play. To stand up to something that even God is incapable of…
How do you answer that?
Doesn't raise any issues.
1. I directed you to the relevant column.
2. Completely fair game. Can't God stand it? He's not required to stand it.
There's no point in answering here. It just seems like weird chatter to me.
With me you are right. We will see God himself confront the sadistic game he created.
