God’s intervention

שו”תGod’s intervention
asked 5 years ago

In the SD

peace,
I wanted to ask whether there might be contradictions and problems regarding the following matter.
God is ‘Almighty’ (this too in dimensions that are sublime to ours).
Does God work in the world with miracles wrapped in physical explanations that we can understand? I have no explanation for this, but for example, a miracle that did not occur and was not a physically possible scenario, and when it did occur, retroactively and without an explanation that makes sense, allows humans to understand the already ‘known’ physical explanation that caused it to occur.
Is this possible?
If possible, will there be any contradictions that will follow?

Thank you very much!

I didn’t understand a word.

It is difficult to explain this, because it does not make sense in terms of the logic by which we act.

But I will try,
The Creator of the universe is omnipotent.
He created us, and gave us the ability to understand things that operate according to the laws He established.
A person cannot walk and run at the same time, because it does not make sense.
We understand that there are situations with laws in nature, by discovering which, it will be possible to predict continuous activity.
What if, God performs ‘natural’ miracles (not talking about the ‘supernatural’), and at the same time, gives us the option to understand the nature hidden behind things.
Let's take an extreme example, the person who cannot walk and run at the same time: right now there is no logical option to speak of, but let's assume that it will happen in 5 minutes, and we will know the logic behind it. Of course, the example is extreme, but truly, God is omnipotent, He can do something that goes against our basic understanding, and make us understand it, without question.

I hope you understand what you wrote, because I don't. It's not about something I don't understand, it's about something I've hidden.

Thank you very much for the responses.

This reminds me of the matter of knowledge and choice.
It is not clear to us how God knows everything and yet we have a choice.
What we can understand is that God is beyond this world.
We are in this world, and therefore we are unable to understand how knowledge and choice can exist.
We can understand that perhaps there is such an option.
Similarly, in what I presented, God is omnipotent, He does not really need to deviate from the laws of the world to perform miracles.
He can perform miracles under the laws of the world, without us suspecting that it is a miracle.
And he can perform ‘real’ miracles, beyond the laws of the world, so that we know that it is a miracle.

Thanks again and sorry if I just caused a headache and a waste of time.

Your words here mean the following: Although there is a contradiction, perhaps we do not understand and there is no contradiction here. This is not a solution to the contradiction.
And more generally, see this article: https://mikyab.net/%D7%9B%D7%AA%D7%91%D7%99%D7%9D/%D7%9E%D7%90%D7%9E%D7%A8%D7%99%D7%9D/%D7%94%D7%90%D7%9D-%D7%90%D7%9E%D7%95%D7%A0%D7%94 -%D7%91%D7%A1%D7%AA%D7%99%D7%A8%D7%95%D7%AA-%D7%9C%D7%95%D7%92%D7%99 %D7%95%D7%AA-%D7%94%D7%99%D7%90-%D7%90%D7%A4%D7%A9%D7%A8%D7%99%D7%AA1
