Can the Rabbi please explain to me the words of Rabbi Kook: “Faith is neither reason nor emotion, but rather the innermost revelation of the soul”?

Maybe it's spiritual intuition? Our son, in lessons on faith, explained that it's about knowledge that is within us.
It is no different from any other knowledge that is within us or that we perceive through intuition.
Apparently. It seems to me that Rabbi Kook came to clarify that this is not a matter of logical construction or religious emotion, but rather of pure consciousness.
