Homosexuality

שו”תCategory: HalachaHomosexuality
asked 2 years ago

His Honor wrote in “Moves Among the Standing” about homosexuality being not a scientific determination but a value determination. Let’s assume that’s the case. Even if it’s an illness or a deviation, does the halakha decree that the homosexual should be alone and not have sexual relations at all? Isn’t this somewhat similar to someone who loses his mind and is judged to be sick and the illness overcame him and therefore committed suicide and therefore treated like an ordinary dead person? Isn’t this similar to a person who is a rapist? And as we know, the rapist is exempt?

I wrote there that this is indeed a situation very close to rape.
