Insects in food
Hello,
What is the Rabbi’s opinion regarding halachic institutes that identify halachic problems and also offer solutions (with “reward on their side”), such as the reality of insects in food and the obligation to use controlled produce?
Kind regards, Benjamin
This is a flaw, but certainly not a prohibition.
Does the "reason for defect" create concern for "impure" halachic rulings based on interests? If so, "certainly not a prohibition", before we come to dealing with the prohibition, we must first explain what the halachic validity of these rulings is?
The validity of rulings is not related to their source. The arguments themselves must be examined, not the arguers.
