Interest and the reason for the commandments

שו”תCategory: faithInterest and the reason for the commandments

Hello Rabbi.
I didn’t understand why God commands the prohibition of interest. I don’t understand the reason for that. Also, in your opinion, does the commandment need a reason or should what God said be done without asking questions?

I don’t understand either. But as far as I understand, the tastes of the mitzvot are not found on the moral plane and there is no point in looking for them there, or looking for them at all. Do you understand the taste of pork or impurity? The commandments are binding because God, the Almighty, commanded us to do them.

Is that what you understood from my question? You need to improve your reading comprehension.
