Is an unreasonable doubt considered a doubt?

שו”תCategory: Talmudic studyIs an unreasonable doubt considered a doubt?

I saw that the Rabbi wrote that a doubt that is not reasonable is not considered a doubt at all. Some believe that it is even considered completely certain.
I would be happy if the Rabbi would direct me to the above sources or to the Rabbi’s expansion on the subject.
Thank you very much!

An unequal doubt is a majority. What sources are needed for this? The question of whether a majority is considered a doubt or a certainty is a debate in the latter. This arises mainly with regard to doubt of impurity (what is the ruling if there is a majority there). See, for example, KH Ketubot Si’ 8 and many others.
