There are many shades of Haredi, but there are definitely parts of it that are close to sectarianism.
Noam, your question was what are the characteristics of a cult? So this is a question of semantics and there is no point in discussing it. I understand a question that asks - after we know what a cult is, and assume that the characteristics are agreed upon by everyone - whether on a factual level the Haredim meet this criterion? Do we mean that? And if so, what made you think that they do?
