Is this moral?
If a person is depicted, he has the option of saving either his own family or a thousand families. If he chooses his own family, is he moral?

This is our normal situation at any moment. Every dollar you invest in your family or even in entertainment can save a life in Africa.

It's indirect and no one really thinks about it. I was talking about a situation where you have, for example, a button that you choose between your family or a thousand other families.
