kashrut
Two questions:
Is there a reason not to drink coffee in places that are not very kosher (they sell pork), whether in Israel or abroad?
Is there a reason not to eat a sandwich or any other food that is factual, meaning I actually checked what is put in and how it is prepared and discovered that it is kosher, but the place does not have a kosher certificate, is there a problem eating it and if so why?

- I think there is no problem in principle. Although the vessel may not be immersed and may be used for hot meat and milk. There is a problem with the appearance of eating in a non-kosher place.
- If the place is not kosher, there is a problem with the appearance of eating something kosher there. If it is kosher but it just doesn’t have a certificate, I don’t see a problem.

What about Akko cooking?
Several poskim wrote that there is no problem with brewing coffee (Hechmat Adam 614, Aruch Shulchan 1322, Yehovah Da'at 444).
