Kosher and Gentiles

Hello Rabbi Michael.
In your article on enlightened idolatry, you are familiar with the Meiri and his revolutionary interpretation regarding the Gentiles.
Is this revolution also evident in the law of kashrut? Are the laws of “path nochri”/”setam yinam”, etc. still valid? If so, why?
Additionally, what is the point of these laws? Is it so that we will not mix with them and drown in assimilation?

Indeed, these laws are not a sanction on the Gentiles but rather a prohibition “because of their daughters” or because they were forbidden because of the evil in this. These two types of prohibition were not abolished/changed by the Meiri either. Incidentally, I mention this in my article (regarding the Christian worship utensils).

What would it take to abolish these laws in our day because they are irrelevant?

What is irrelevant about this?
