Hello Rabbi
How are you?
1. I wanted to ask you, please, what happened with the book by that American who wanted to “prove” all sorts of things through studies on evolution, who in response wrote the book “God Plays Dice.” Has his opinion been accepted to the point that it is actually taught in American schools, or has this idea been shelved? What is happening here in Israel? And in general, what is happening in the wider world today with respect to the theory of evolution?
2. I don’t remember if I asked you this question before, so if I did, I apologize for asking again. How can it be that one Shemam, (which if I understand correctly, Bibi Beit Sheni, would have looked the same), within 2000 years, which seems like a relatively short time to me, those same Jewish people, some became Russians, some Ethiopians, some Poles, and some Iraqis, and not only did their skin color change, (which could perhaps be explained by the climate), but their facial features also changed. How is this possible?
