Light to the Gentiles

Hello Rabbi Michi.
What do you think is the role of the Jewish people among the families of nations? Morality? Values? Spirituality? Holiness? All nations have these things. So what is the additional value that Judaism should place on humanity that does not exist in the other nations of the world? If the rabbi could also give an example so that things are clear, it would be very helpful. Thank you very much.

I don’t know if we have a role in relation to the nations. We had a role, to bring them the faith and the commandments of the sons of Noah. Now this already exists to one degree or another (and I don’t really see that it exists with us anymore), and it doesn’t seem to me that anyone intends to accept these things from us. Now we are supposed to focus on our own conduct and not on being a light to the nations. If we become a light to the nations – what good.
