Hello Rabbi
I came across this article: https://musaf-shabbat.com/2011/12/25/%D7%93%D7%95%D7%A8%D7%9B%D7%99%D7%9D-%D7%91%D7%9E%D7%A7%D7%95%D7%9D-%D7%99%D7%A9%D7%A8%D7%90%D7%9C-%D7%9C%D7%91%D7%A7%D7%95%D7%91%D7%99%D7%A5/
The author sharply criticizes the teaching method of the Lithuanian yeshivahs.
What do you think of the article?
Is the teaching method of the Lithuanian yeshivahs fundamentally wrong, or is it generally the correct form and at most needs to be corrected in a few things?

Tuba should elaborate on this. I think there are quite a few errors in his words and also some correct claims. In summary, the speaker:
  1. The academic world is really not standing still. This is absolutely not true. On top of the floor that was renovated at Rabbi and Rabbi Shekap, more floors have been built and are being built.
2. I also do not agree that the attempt to explain every method necessarily leads to stagnation. On the contrary, scholarly techniques are being renewed that allow us to do this. These techniques, which are innovations in the methodological plane, sometimes also yield innovations in jurisprudence and understanding itself. Indeed, sometimes they are used in an overly elaborate manner that leads to confusion, but this is neither necessary nor essential. 3. I do agree that adhering to the first interpretations as if they were absolute truth is misplaced. The Talmud may have halachic authority, but there is no basis for claiming that it cannot err.
