Agree with the following claims:
1. The foundation of logic and thinking in general is the law of identity, the law of non-contradiction, and the law of the avoided third.
2. The principle that unifies and organizes the three laws above is dichotomy, meaning that in logic there are only 2 options that categorically exclude each other: either to assert identical claims or to assert one thing and its opposite.
3. If the last point is correct, it is asked to clarify: What is this dichotomy? How is it possible? And similar questions.
4. The last point seems to me not trivial at all. If we accept that the three fundamental laws ultimately rest on a single principle (dichotomies), then we have advanced in our understanding of the essence of logic and therefore we cannot say again that the three laws mentioned are the basis. Dichotomies are the basis.
