Loyalty in faith
peace,
There is a fundamental assumption throughout the site in every publication, that there is no concept of certainty regarding God, but that everything is born out of probability. Simply put, I understand that there is nothing in this that obligates me on my part, but that the absolute choice is mine. If I am stuck, I will believe, and if not, then I will not.
Why should we even begin with philosophical thought regarding God? Why not develop the concept of loyalty that we encounter every day, and its power is far beyond reasonableness, to the point of using it as truth.
Why don’t we actually take the matter of loyalty in the transmission of tradition, delve deeper into the definition and build a subtext on it? Discuss the rules of loyalty taught by the Sages, rely on the laws of preservation of transmission as they have been for all generations and stand by them? Why is the probability that has become a certainty that there is less good in loyalty? Since this is the truth, then even the least wise person who necessarily lives his life according to a concept of loyalty (in the laws of nature, in the Horite, in his doctor, in the food company, in transportation, in his friend) will surely be able to arrive? The obligation here also becomes real.
I don’t think there’s no room for philosophical thought on this matter, but I have a hard time with assuming this is the first floor and not the second.
thanks
I don’t understand what is meant by “loyalty.” If you believe in God, you can be loyal to Him. But loyalty doesn’t stand on its own. Instead of thinking there’s a wall in front of me, will I be loyal to the wall? I just don’t understand the words.
By the way, what I said is not about hugging, but about what I think. The fact that I don’t have certainty doesn’t mean that I don’t have a well-founded position. That’s what I think, even though I may be wrong.
